Manchester United and Juventus currently top the list of suitors for German starlet Mario Gotze, according to the player’s representative.
The 19-year-old has been linked with London rivals Arsenal and Chelsea as well as Bundesliga outfit Bayern Munich.
However, the Germany international has previously played down the reports and claimed he is happy to see out his contract with Die Schwarzgelben, which expires in 2014.
The talented midfielder, though, has hinted at a hypothetical switch to Spanish giants Barcelona or Real Madrid as their brand of football appeals to him.
Gotze’s agent Dirk Hebel, however, has revealed his client has warranted interest from both United and Juve - two clubs who may have the deep pockets to lure the highly-rated teenager into their folds.
“I think in Europe all the top clubs are interested in Mario,” Hebel told calciomercato.com.
“I can confirm that I have had contact with Juventus and Manchester United, but not only them.
“I don’t know if he’ll go away after this season, you should ask Borussia. But I think that they will not let him leave for less than 40million euros.
“He still is very happy at Dortmund, though now he is injured.”
