On-loan striker Denis Stracqualursi has impressed Everton boss David Moyes enough to suggest a permanent move may be on the cards.
Stracqualursi, who is at Goodison Park for the season from Argentine club Tigre, scored his first Premier League goal for the Toffees in Satuday’s 2-0 win over Chelsea.
Moyes has since revealed the 24-year-old’s efforts for the Merseysiders thus far have encouraged him to consider how much it would cost to the deal a long-term one.
“I don’t know how much he’d cost, but it wouldn’t be massive,” said the Scottish tactician.
“I saw things (against Chelsea), like early in the second half when the ball went through to the keeper and Denis chased it down, then the next player did the same.
“That got the crowd up, the players pick up on it and it gives everyone a real lift. He’s been doing fantastic for us.”
