QPR will be aiming to put some distance between themselves and the relegation zone when they host lowly Wolves at Loftus Road on Saturday.
The Hoops are 16th in the Premier League standings with 21 points, only three points clear of the drop zone.
However, things are looking up for Mark Hughes’ side after they picked up four points in their last two games while also signing strikers Djibril Cisse and Bobby Zamora.
Wolves have struggled to scrape together the points recently. Mick McCarthy’s men have only managed to collect four points from their last nine league games and are 19th in the standings.
A two-goal win would, however, see Wolves leapfrog their hosts.
In team news, the London club are expected to start Zamora in Rob Hulse’s stead, while new midfield signing Samba Diakite is with Mali at the Africa Cup of Nations.
Meanwhile, Wolves could start loan signing Sebastien Bassong while Jamie O’Hara is set to replace Eggert Jonsson in the starting lineup.
Karl Henry remains sidelined as he is serving the second game of his three-match suspension.
