Amauri claims Viola switch

Juventus striker Amauri has claimed to be in the process of negotiating a move to fellow Serie A club Fiorentina.

The Brazilian has fallen out of favour in Turin under manager Antonio Conte and has been linked with a number of Premier League clubs including Fulham, QPR and Tottenham.

The 31-year-old, however, now insists Sinisa Mihajlovic’s side could secure his signature should the ideal terms be agreed.

“I hope everything could soon be close,” Amauri told Lady Radio. “You know well what is happening.

“The two clubs are talking and I hope it could be solved as soon as possible. I hope soon to know the developments of the negotiations. Then we will see what will happen.”
